Hope began in 1989 as IP Engineering, founded by Ian Weatherill and Simon Sharp, both aerospace engineers. Initially, they made aerospace tooling but, being passionate mountain bikers, they started producing bicycle parts on the side. They machine nearly everything in Barnoldswick using aerospace-grade materials. This not only ensures quality but also supports sustainability and precision control.
