In a sport where every second count,s Cervélo engineered a 6.3-watt aero advantage over the outgoing S5 system. How? It’s all about the system: frame, fork, handlebar, seatpost, and the all-new Reserve 57/64 wheels — designed hand-in-hand with the S5 for seamless aerodynamic harmony.
125g Lighter system weight
Despite using deeper aero profiles, the MY26 S5 comes in 125 grams lighter than the previous model. This is thanks to a redesigned frame, lighter seatpost hardware, and a newly developed HB19 one-piece bar/stem, which sheds over 100g alone.
New Reserve 57/64 wheels
The wheels play a big part in the performance story. The Reserve 57/64 wheelset offers deeper aero profiles without adding weight, using asymmetric shaping and airfoil profiling to maintain stability at high yaw angles.
